31 Day Challenge (modified): Day 4-Color GREEN Nails

Had to switch from the yellow quickly-I didn't like it and I chipped one of my middle finger nails badly at work so I needed a re file (although also glad to get off the yellow :)

Off to GREEN! I have a bunch of awesome green colors and wanted to utilize all of them so I needed a nail art design that used many colors. I went with the Splatter design!

Here was what I came up with! Actually really excited with the finished product but definitely envisioned it differently.

Here is a close up shot of my thumb.

I started off with Orly's Androgynie which is a black gelly base with a fine gold glitter in it along with some bigger circular glitter (picture below shown with two coats). I really love this polish!

I then splattered on Orly's Jealous Much (a lighter pastel green), China Glaze Paper Chasing (darker grass green with some metallic shine), China Glaze Rare and Radiant (goldish metallic green) and finally China Glaze In The Lime Light Neon (neon green). From there I cleaned up the mess (splatter is very messy) and let the paint on my nails dry as some places were thicker than others. I then lightly covered with my new favorite glitter Orly's Monster Mash (one of their Halloween edition polishes. This is seen really well on the thumb nail-it is a bright neon green circular glitter with gold bars in a light neon gelly base.

Overall one of my favorite manicures thus far in the 30 day challenge. The pictures definitely do not do it justice-it is a lot brighter in person. I think this one might stay on awhile! :)
